Petracovich - Jessica Peters once lived the life of a coffee shop troubadour, traveling from open-mics to gigs at restaurants and bars with nothing but an acoustic guitar to accompany her.  But after graduating from college she wanted more.  Reinventing herself as an ethereal pop diva,  Peters took on the name of her great-grandfather - Petracovich - and recorded an album full of haunting melodies and dreamy, ambient textures.  The twenty-something singer-songwriter has since garnered a wealth of critical praise and airplay on KCRW’s flagship music program Morning Becomes Eclectic.  She will perform at Zoey’s weekly Brand New Opry gathering on Sunday, November 17.
