Driving Home
blue cotton skin
Immersed in sky
Blue and white
I only feel the Tires whirring by I
I wear my fake cowboy hat
Know it could take me back to
With the window cracked
It's not so bad
Air hits my sweat I'm
Cool as a fish and
Swimming in all that's gone
Driving right into the hole to
Well the dust is picking up the pink
And sun is really making a show
And I'm so settled in my sunken seat
Breathing like I was asleep
And there's so much I could tell you
But I don't think that your'e ready to know
The road and you would like for me to let it go
Her shadow moves
Torments the sand
How long can you hover
Holding it in?
I'm thick as a thundercloud
If one drop falls they all come out to
